Following the Unlock 4.0, the state of Himachal Pradesh has finally lifted all travel restrictions to enter its borders. Travellers will now be able to enter this popular holiday destination without an e-pass, a hotel booking proof or a COVID negative certificate.
The state cabinet, in a meeting on Tuesday, made a verdict to lift all restrictions in order to allow easy movement of travellers in and out of the state. Although, the movement of transport vehicles will still not be permitted in Himachal Pradesh.
The news has come as a great reason to rejoice for the Indian travellers who had been looking forward to resuming travelling and visit this famous holiday destination. Many had been holding themselves back fro travelling to Himachal due to the requirement of various documents and proof. Various tour operators and travel agents are also delighted on the news as this is sure to help them receive an increased amount of the much-needed travel bookings.
The number of COVID cases in Himachal stand quite low as compared to other states in India and thus, is observed to be quite a popular choice of travellers for their first post-lockdown vacation or escape.
