To help travellers reconnect to their passions for discovering new places and learning new things, the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of #StayCurious which is a virtual exploration platform for travellers across the world.
The platform will provide authentic and extraordinary educative and entertaining content in one place for a global audience. It has been designed to let travellers enjoy the unique ambience & amazing hospitality of emirates from the comfort of their homes. Travellers can enjoy interactive, 360-degree experiences on this platform that are bound to transport them to a whole another world. With its five pillars of content which are: stay adventurous, stay indulgent, stay enlightened, stay creative and stay entertained, the platform will bring virtual tours, experiences, cooking workshops, masterclasses, educative courses, events, and activations for travellers. Abu Dhabi’s newly launched virtual experiences called ‘CulturAll’ will also be showcased.
HE Saood Al Hosani, Acting Undersecretary at DCT Abu Dhabi, said: “During these challenging times, DCT Abu Dhabi sought to bring people worldwide together by providing an experience that will not only enrich their lives but also delight and entertain them at the same time. #StayCurious is an opportunity for people to dream, imagine, and fulfil their curiosity and reaffirms our love for exploration and learning more about one another.”
He further added, “Abu Dhabi has always been known for its unrivalled hospitality. And despite the physical distance between us, we are looking forward to welcoming virtual visitors to the heart of our city and our culture through this innovative experience; and perhaps this will open the door for them to come and experience it in person in the future.”
Although a full resumption of international travel seems to be a bit far for us, initiatives like these are surely keeping the passion of travellers alive. #StayCurious is truly a great way for travellers to indulge in new cultures, events and experiences- all from the comfort of their homes!
